Woodward High School senior Corbin Barnett is a member of the varsity wrestling team under head coach Jared Weatherhead. This season Barnett is wrestling at 160-pounds and is looking forward to competing and representing his school.
We caught up with Barnett as the second half of the season gets underway.
VYPE: Corbin, what do you love most about this team and your teammates?
Barnett: What I love the most is the work ethic that they all produce.
VYPE: Do you have a favorite subject in school or a favorite teacher?
Barnett: Mrs. Estep from third grade highland park because she was such a happy person and loved me in her class.
VYPE: What are your plans after you graduate?
Barnett: I plan to attend college for a business degree.
VYPE: Tell us one of your favorite memories from being a student-athlete at Woodward.
Barnett: A lot of my favorite memories came from Mr. Irresistible.
VYPE: When you return for your ten-year reunion, who will be the most successful classmate of the 2022 class?
Barnett: Jake Mead.
