Woodward head coach Lloyd Vedder called Porter, “the point guard that runs the show for us.”
Masey Porter is a senior this season and is known for being a hard-nosed floor leader that can rebound as well.
“She and Thessaly Pfeifer should be our leaders and leading scorers,” said coach Vedder.
VYPE: What do you love most about your team and teammates?
Porter: I love how team oriented we are.
VYPE: What is your favorite subject in school and who is your favorite teacher?
Porter: My favorite subject is Teacher’s Aide, and my favorite teachers are Beth Baker and Kari Terry.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life? Explain
Porter: My biggest influence is my parents, they have shaped me into the person I am today by leading me and helping me on my journey with Christ!
