Cruz is looking to have a big season for Shattuck this season. He has worked hard in the offseason and is ready to get the season started.
Wide Receiver/Tight End – Braxton Burge (Hooker)
He ended last season with over 1,000 yards receiving last year. He also has totaled 15 touchdowns over the past two season.
Running Back – Wyatt Tillery (Laverne)
Wyatt is an agile and athletic runner who had 1,681 all-purpose yards and 23 touchdowns.
Offensive Lineman – Cale Collins (Texhoma/Goodwell)
This will be his third year as a starter on the offensive line. He is a very tough and physical player.
Defensive Lineman – Peyton Carter (Woodward)
Carter will wreak havoc on opponents this season. His disrupting presence will be felt anytime he is on the field.
Linebacker – Blake Chain (Seiling)
Blake is a tremendous football player that has a very high ceiling and he is still growing. Started at linebacker last year as freshman and ended with second on the team in tackles.
Defensive Back – Tead Woods (Shattuck)
Patrolling the secondary, Tead has a great eye for the ball. He will work to shutdown the opponent’s passing game.

Editor’s Choice
QB Felix Teal 5-7, 175, Jr. Laverne Tigers
With over 3,100 yards of offense last year, Laverne’s Felix Teal is one of the top runners in the state. Listed as a QB, Teal can play multiple positions. His 47 touchdowns is a high mark for anyone to match in the state.
RB Brayden Garrison 5-10, 175, Sr. Texhoma-Goodwell Red Devils
The most explosive player on the Texhoma-Goodwell offense, Brayden Garrison is a quick and aggressive running back. His ability to put his head down and make the tough yards is one reason he makes the list.
WR Braxton Burge 6-1, 175, Sr. Hooker Bulldogs
In the last two seasons Braxton Burge has amassed over 1,000 yards receiving and 15 touchdowns at wide receiver. Big enough to cross the middle and fast enough to stretch the field on the edge, Burge is a go-to player in the Bulldog offense.
OL Josh Bay 6-1, 215, Sr. Shattuck Indians
Okay, so he’s a tight end…Josh Bay simply gets the job done. Blocking, receiving, being a leader, this kid has it all. Likely to go DI in baseball, Bay is a competitor and someone you want on your roster.
DL Levi Millikan 6-4, 215, Jr. Balko-Forgan Bulls
The Bulls love to use Levi Millikan in ways you would not expect. His length allows him to get after quarterbacks at defensive end, while his speed makes him a tough player to stop at linebacker.
LB Tayte Dome 6-2, 225, Sr. Laverne Tigers
Another reason for the Tigers success the last two seasons, Tayte Dome will play at the next level, either in football or baseball. Dome tallied 110 tackles with three forced fumbles, five fumble recoveries and one interception.
DB TK Watson 5-9, 155, Sr. Guymon Tigers
One of the more versatile athletes on the list, TK Watson will play multiple positions for the Tigers including corner or safety in the secondary. A leader on and off the field, Watson will climb as high as he wants this season.
