9 Questions with Woodwards Caleb Hutton – Soccer Spotlight
VYPE: What do you love most about being a student-athlete at Woodward HS?
Hutton: My favorite part about being a student athlete at WHS is the camaraderie and the culture as a whole.
VYPE: What’s your favorite subject in school and do you have a favorite teacher?
Hutton: My favorite subject would have to be english with Mrs. Cook.
VYPE: What grade are you in and when did you first start playing soccer?
Hutton: I’m a sophomore but I started playing when I was 5 and I took a short break from it during my 8th grade and freshman year.
VYPE: What position do you play and what made you decide you wanted to play that position?
Hutton: I play keeper and my influences for playing the position was their keeper from last season quit and I was asked to play.
VYPE: Who is your favorite soccer player?
Hutton: I don’t really pay attention to soccer as a whole so I don’t really know.
VYPE: What aspect of your game have you improved the most this season?
Hutton: I would say my decision making.
VYPE: Which teammate always impresses you the most or do you have a former teammate who left an impression on you?
Hutton: I would say Naim he always seems to find a way out of tough spots.
VYPE: Who has been a big influence in your life? Explain.
Hutton: Probably my dad he’s always been there for me and he’s taught me almost everything I know.
VYPE: What do you enjoy doing in your free time outside of school and sports?
Hutton: I enjoy fishing and hunting.
VYPE: What would you like to do after you graduate?
Hutton: My plans for after graduation are to go to OSU IT and become and electrician.
