Alexa Bell Strives to Become a Good Team Captain for the Boomers – Presented by Randy’s Pharmacy

VYPE: What are your goals for yourself and your team?

Alexa: A personal goal of mine is to be a good captain for my team and push them to be greater than the day before. I’d say as a team our goal this year is to make it to the State Finals.

VYPE: What is the most fun you have had in the last year?

Alexa: I have the most fun every second I’m on the field with my team.

VYPE: Who is your favorite teacher from any grade or coach and why?

Alexa: My favorite substitute teacher is Mrs. Chumley. I absolutely love when I walk into the classroom to find her sitting at the teacher’s desk. She’s easy to talk to about personal problems and will do whatever she can to help. I’m very thankful for her!

VYPE: What is your favorite athletic memory?

Alexa: My favorite memory from soccer is the amazing rush of happiness that the whole team got to experience when we made it to semifinals last season. Another favorite is when I got voted for captain this season.

VYPE: What teammate has left the biggest impression on you and why?

Alexa: JB Miramontes has left the biggest impression on me throughout the recent seasons. When I moved from outside mid to outside back, she helped me through every bit of it. JB has taught me almost everything I know about playing defense and has shown nothing but support and guidance.

VYPE: Who on your team has the best impression of your coach and who says the funniest things during games?

Alexa: Veronica Zwink definitely says some of the weirdest, funniest things. There’s never a dull moment with that girl.

VYPE: You can pick any place for a summer vacation, where do you go and who do you take with you?

Alexa: I’d absolutely love to visit different parts of Europe with my family or maybe even somewhere up in Canada.

VYPE: If we gave you $500 dollars and you had to spend it in the next 24 hours, how would you spend it?

Alexa: I would definitely spend all of it on concert tickets, clothes, and tattoos.

VYPE: Here is your chance to say hello, goodbye or thank you to anyone you wish.

Alexa: I want to give thanks to my momma for being my biggest fan and for my family’s support. I’d also like to thank my coaches for pushing me and making my high school soccer career the most memorable time of my life. Much love to all.
